Florence (Italy): Writing, Media and Culture

This summer program will not happen in 2021, but please consider it for 2022!

This six-credit summer program offers one course, FST 350 European Cinema, designed to immerse students in European culture past and present; and one course, JRN 318 Advanced Storytelling, in which students will write about the food.Students in the 2018 Italy program learn how to make pasta.

The 5-week program includes a study trip to Rome. Students live in apartments in the heart of historic Florence, and take classes Monday afternoons through Thursday. Open to all majors. Classes are taught in English and have no prerequisites.
