Faculty members receive summer research grants

Crain, Siff both have book projects

Two MJF faculty members received Faculty Research Grants to fund their research for the summer of 2019.

The University Senate Committee on Faculty Research (CFR) Grants Program awarded Matthew Crain and Stephen Siff  funds for a summer research appointment..

Crain, assistant professor in Media & Culture, will work on a book titled “First Watch: The Rise of Surveillance Advertising"

Siff, associate professor in journalism, will work on a section of a book titled  "Drug War Propaganda: The Political and Intellectual History of Domestic Influence Campaigns in the U.S. Wars on Drugs, 1963 to 1988."
