C. Lee Harrington is Professor of Sociology and Social Justice Studies. She received her BA from Rice University and her MA and PhD from the University of California-Santa Barbara. She has been a member of the Miami faculty since 1990. Her research areas include media studies, sociology of culture, and sociology of law.
