Ronald E. Bulanda joined Miami University in 2004. He received his Ph.D. in sociology from Bowling Green State University with a major concentration in family studies and a minor concentration in social psychology. He regularly teaches introductory and capstone sociology courses, as well as courses in demography and family sociology. His research interests include parenting, child well-being, and measurement issues in family structure and instability.
