Ms. Reams has been creating one-of-a-kind textiles and apparel since earning her MFA in Textiles from Rhode Island School of Design, where she specialized in machine knitting and digital weaving of apparel fabrics. Her award-winning work has been shown internationally and has appeared in numerous publications, both books and periodicals. 

Previously Ms. Reams ran her own apparel design and manufacturing company in Boston, marketing both wholesale and retail. She has traveled to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa for design research. 

Ms. Reams co-developed the Fashion Program at Miami. Professor Reams inspires her students to create new and unique fashion and textile designs. 

Her applied research focuses on designing and developing integrated textile and dress designs - woven, knitted and printed.  Della imbues her fabrics and garments with the energy of health and wellbeing.
