Experiencing Arts and Culture in Barcelona

This winter workshop in Barcelona, Spain provides exposure, immersion, and direct experience with the visual and performing arts in an international urban setting. Although focused on the rich history of Spanish architecture, visual and performing arts, students will also experience other artistic traditions such as music and cuisine. Students practice fundamentals of artistic work and learn about the specific culture and contemporary art and culture of Barcelona. The course starts online 12/22/19 and continues through 1/25/20. The travel component of this program is 1/2/20-1/19/20

Credits: 6
Courses: CCA 121 and CCA 221 (6 credit hours)
Prerequisites: There are no course prerequisites. Minimum GPA 2.5. Students with disciplinary history will need supplemental interview with directors, Interview with directors focused on personal responsibility.
