Learn the fundamentals of paper marbling in this exploration of color, pattern, and design in print! Follow along as Natalie leads remote tutorials from her professional marbling studio. Each session will be followed by virtual open studio time, during which participants will get their hands dirty and all their questions answered. We’ll unravel the history of marbling in the European tradition, and explore contemporary developments. Students will be free to pursue their own palette and style as class progresses, leaving with an array of designs and the skills to continue marbling in the future.

Each class session will begin with a one hour live lecture/demonstration, followed by virtual open studio for students to share their home studio experience, ask lots of questions, and view a smattering of demonstrations from Natalie.
