Vocalosity Performing Arts Series presents Vocalosity

Vocalosity is the all-new live concert event! The evening will feature an all-star ensemble of diverse young vocalists singing some of today’s chart-topping hits in 12-part harmony. It’s the aca-perfect concert experience coming to Hall Auditorium on February 11Sponsored by the Baymont Inn & Suites, Jerome Conley, The Knolls of Oxford, and Kona Bistro  Get tickets now!


Club Jazz Series Department of Music Highlights  

Miami University Symphony Orchestra is the featured ensemble as part of the Chinese New Year Concert and Celebration (Feb. 6). Other highlights include a faculty recital with Harvey Thurmer, violin and Bruce Murray, piano (Feb. 13); the Chris Tanner Quartet in the Club Heritage Jazz Series (Feb. 24); a faculty recital with Jaime Morales-Matos, trombone and Bruce Murray, piano (Feb. 28); in addition to student recitals, and the music department's clarinet studio recital featuring a special anniversary celebration with Michele Gingras (Feb. 29). Pride and Prejudice Miami Theatre presents Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice

Rehearsals are underway for the first theatrical performance of the semester ~ Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice adapted by Melissa Leilani Larson, opening February 24. The spring line-up also includes a special performance of A Raisin in the Sun, by Lorraine Hansberry, the musical theatre production of Street Scene, (Music by Kurt Weill, Lyrics by Langston Hughes, Book by Elmer Rice) and Paula Vogel's A Long Christmas Ride Home.
