Rachel is working hard this summer to save money for a big move to Las Vegas and to get married to her fiancé.
What will you be doing in your new role?
I am currently working as a Social Media Optimizer with Pinnacle Media Group. I will be helping multiple businesses in Toledo widen their online presence to increase their business and brand awareness.
How did you find out about this opportunity?
I did a lot of research online, as well as talking to recruiters until I found the perfect job that fits all of my interests.
What are you most proud of during your time at Miami?
I am so proud that in the Fall of 2018, I had the opportunity to go to San Francisco with the Digital Innovations Program. I worked as a Media Buyer for a start-up right in the heart of it all on Market Street. I made amazing connections and had the time of my life.
Please share an inspiring story about your time at Miami.
When I first came to Miami as a freshman, I had no idea what I wanted to do. After talking to the president of one of the clubs I joined, I found the IMS (Interactive Media Studies) program and fell in love. It led me to where I am today and made me passionate about social media and design.
