An arts & culture community event for all, celebrating Black Joy & Radical Hospitality!

Make plans to join us as we take over the Oxford Uptown Parks on Saturday, April 23rd. Bringing together campus and community, the festival will be headlined by an in-concert, Afrofuturist reimagining of the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical called The Sound of (Black) Music. This exciting new work first premiered in the summer of 2021 at Bard College Summerscapes and was named by the New York Times in the Best of Theatre 2021.
