Dr. Doug Coffin wins three awards for contributions in paper industry
Dr. Douglas Coffin, professor in the Chemical, Paper and Biomedical Engineering department, recently won the 2021 William H. Aiken Prize for Research and Development, the TAPPI Journal Best Research Paper Award and the Paper Science & Engineering Foundation (PSEF) Miami Partnership Award.

CEC receives grant from Ohio Department of Higher Education
the College of Engineering and Computing has received $588,000 to support the recruitment and continued education of students in the Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields in the areas of Robotics, Manufacturing, and Automation.

CPB senior wins National Science Foundation award for future graduate research
Lexie Adams, a senior chemical engineering major, plans to attend Stanford University to continue studying chemical engineering. Her decision to attend Stanford comes just after finding out she is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program award winner.
