Dr. Manar Mohamed is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Miami University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Alabama at Birmingham, a M.S and B.S in Computer Science from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Egypt. Her current research interests are usable security, mobile security, applied machine learning and data sciences. She has published 12 journal, conference and workshop papers, many at top-tier venues in Computer Security, including: IEEE Transactions, ACM WiSec, and IEEE PerCom. Dr. Mohamed’s work has received extensive media coverage, for example, ACM TechNews, Slashdot and Computer World.
