Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering could be for you if you like:

  • Building things from scratch
  • Analyzing and evaluating various sources of information to identify where problems are likely to occur
  • Translating practical problems into mechanical expressions and techniques
  • Being self-directed and quick to learn new technologies

Mechanical and manufacturing engineers not only analyze problems, but also work in teams and lead them. We offer you the opportunity to be part of a high quality team of students, staff, and faculty to pursue degrees in mechanical or manufacturing engineering and engineering management. In addition to classroom activities, our students work on design and research projects under the active advisement of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering faculty. Our graduates go on to professional and graduate schools as well as to careers in industry to solve emerging needs of society.
