2023 Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Brass Institute Orchestral Fellows Program

June 5 - June 12, 2023

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Brass Institute, Orchestral Fellows Program, is a week-long intensive educational and performance opportunity for pre-professional brass players from across the country.

Held on the beautiful Oxford, Ohio campus of Miami University, June 5 through June 12, 2023, the participants will work closely with members of the Cincinnati Symphony Brass section and Miami University Faculty.

This Program is offered without cost to the participant. With the support of the Miami University College of Creative Arts and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the chosen participants will receive a fellowship for the full cost of the program including accommodation and meals.

The Orchestral Fellows program provides incredible access to professional musicians and daily excerpt coaching, mock auditions, master classes on a variety of audition and job retention topics, section playing, and a large brass ensemble for public performances.

Through an audition process, the institute will select 4 Trumpets, 4 Horns, 3 Trombones, and 2 Tubas for participation.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to study at the highest level and experience music-making as you never have before!
