Curriculum Vitae

Bio:
Doing social justice work begins with the ability and willingness to see the inequities that are inherent in our world, institutions of learning, and schooling practices. I believe knowledge of self is the point of entry into liberation work. Working with young children and preservice teachers to examine their own biases is where I begin the process of encouraging and nurturing future disruptors of the status quo. From early childhood to higher education classrooms, engaging students (of all races, cultures, etc.) through critical pedagogies, literacies, and schooling practices is how I approach the work of decolonization, liberation, and transformation.
