Pathways

There are two different stipend and scholarship pathways. A short description of each pathway is available below.

Pathway 1 is for undergraduate STEM majors who commit to becoming a Noyce Scholar during their freshman or sophomore year and pursue a double major in a STEM content discipline and in secondary (Grade 7-12) science or mathematics education.

Pathway 2 is for STEM professionals and recent STEM graduates to pursue a master’s degree (MAT) in secondary (Grade 7-12) science or mathematics education.

Paid Internships

The Miami University Robert Noyce Scholars Program (MU-Noyce) is offering paid summer internships to promising first- and second-year students in science, mathematics, and engineering. Internships provide relevant experience to students who are considering applying for the MU-Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program but have not yet fully committed to teaching as a career option.
