Explore EHS Experiential Learning

The College of Education, Health, and Society (EHS) seeks to provide an immersive and interactive experience for students. Here at EHS, our students are encouraged to explore ways in which they may learn through direct experience via internships, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other experiential learning options, which offer valuable opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations.

Experiential learning is an essential component of the EHS experience that enables students to gain:

  • A greater understanding and broader perspective on the communities in which they live and work
  • Real-world competence that abides by our mission to “prepare graduates to generate knowledge, educate, serve and promote well-being in diverse and global settings through ethical, democratic practices”
