The Department of Accountancy offers both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree program. Both consistently rank in the Top 25 in the nation. That’s one of the reasons we are a target recruiting school for the Big Four and other professional services firms as well as a number of corporations, financial institutions and government organizations.

Allyson Heitger "The most impactful experiences from my time in the Accountancy program are the co-curricular activities I participated in. The level of personal interaction from Miami faculty and case competitions provided me with a better sense of the career opportunities"

Ethan Retcher "Adding a minor in Accountancy was a key catalyst for landing an investment banking role. The flexibility of the minor allowed me to select a range of classes that taught me fundamental skills needed on the job, as well as electives for my personal interests. The classes, faculty, and research and experiential learning opportunities that came with being involved in the Department of Accountancy allowed me to develop frameworks for tackling both abstract, high-level problems and granular, detail-oriented problems."
