About

Miami University’s Master’s in Economics (MECO) is a 12-month program that begins in fall semester in late August and concludes with the conferral of the MA the next August. Our students interact with engaged faculty to rigorously incorporate theory and statistics, providing a powerful and unique toolkit that permits causal inference. Previous students have been placed in the private and public sector, as well as PhD programs. Financial support in the form of tuition waivers and assistantships is available.
