Business Honors Application


The application period for the Farmer School of Business Honors Program will open late in the Spring 2021 semester. To submit an application, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a first-year student who entered Miami University Fall 2020 semester.
- You must be a student who was admitted into the Farmer School of Business starting the Fall 2020 semester or Spring 2021 semester.
- You need to have taken First Year Integrated Core prior to Fall 2021 semester.
- You must have completed the First-Year Integrated Core, or "FYIC" (BUS 101, BUS 102, ESP 103, BUS 104), ACC 221, and CSE 148 by Fall 2021 semester.
How to Apply to the Farmer School of Business Honors Program
The Business Honors Application is due Monday, April 12 at 11:59pm ET. Applications will then be reviewed and if you are selected to move forward, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. Interviews will be conducted the week of April 19.
Admission Notification
Applicants will be notified of the results of the admission process into the Farmer School of Business Honors Program in the beginning of May (tentative) and if accepted, will work with the FSB Academic Advising office to adjust their schedule to accommodate Business Honors coursework into Fall semester
Remember: If you are not currently a member of the Honors College, you will be accepted into the Honors College once you are accepted into FSB Honors. At that point, you will be informed about the Honors College, but remember all of your Honors College requirements will be met by FSB Business Honors requirements.
