The Department of Marketing offers one thematic sequence: MKT5: Creating Customer Value through Marketing.

The objectives of this sequence are to:

  • Introduce students to the behavioral, sociological, psychological and economic foundations behind marketing;
  • Create an understanding of how marketing can improve the quality of life through enlightened personal selling; and
  • Assist non-marketing majors to apply marketing concepts to a broad spectrum of personal and professional careers.
