Academic tuition and fees are set by Miami University's Bursar Office. Non-academic program fee includes housing accommodations, two meals, internship placement, 24/7 on the ground support, airport pick-up, orientation, visa processing support, and weekly social and business events.

Please Note: Students are responsible for medical insurance as required by Miami University and personal expenses, as noted below.

Freeman Foundation Grant is available-Eligible students will receive $5,000

Fees Paid to Miami: $8,280.33(In-State) $9,488.52 (Out-of-State)

Non-academic Fees: $6,395

Non-academic fees are due in two installments. Fees paid are not refundable after 03/15/2021.

  1. $2,000 deposit due 2 weeks after acceptance (non-refundable)
  2. Remainder due 3/15/2021 and is non-refundable after that date.
  • Note:  Non-academic program fees must be paid in full. Grant recipients will receive the grant funds upon arrival in Tokyo.
  • The Freeman Foundation Grant will be deposited to student’s Bursar account.

  • Non-refundable administrative fee: $175
  • In-State Fee: $1,710.33
  • Out-of-State Fee: $2,918.52
  • Tuition rates are subject to change by the University.  Tuition will be billed through the bursar about a month prior to program start date.

All Locations Personal Fees: $3,628

  • Airfare - $2,000
  • Meals and Incidentals $1,000
  • GeoBlue Insurance - $128
  • Free time - $500

Expenses will vary according to level of personal spending. This expense will include personal shopping and other personal spending/expenses. We strongly recommend that you plan to take enough money in order to enjoy your experience comfortably. In addition, an emergency source of funds, such as a credit card, should be arranged for in case of difficulties
