
Fees

1. Academic tuition and fees are set by Miami University's Bursar Office. 2. Non-academic program fees include housing, some meals, airport pick-up, visa processing, orientation, SIM card, 24/7 support.
(Students are responsible for medical insurance as required by Miami University and personal expenses).
Freeman Foundation Grant Support - Eligible students receive:
-$5,000 toward program cost (up to 18 students)
Fees Paid to Miami: $5,924.20 (In-State) $6,311.30 (Out-of-State)
Non-academic Fees: $5,200.00
Non-academic fees are due in three installments. Fees paid are not refundable after 01/04/2019
- $2000 deposit due 2 weeks after acceptance
- $3200 due 02/15/2019
- Note: Non-academic program fees must be paid in full. Grant recipients will receive the $5000 upon arrival in Shanghai.
- The Freeman Foundation Grant will be deposited to student’s Bursar account.
Academic Fees
- Non-refundable administrative fee: $175.00
- In-State Fee: $549.20
- Out-of-State Fee: $936.30
- Tuition rates are subject to change by the University. Tuition will be billed through the bursar about a month prior to program start date.
Personal Fees: $3,428.00
- Airfare - $2,000.00
- Non-program meals - $800.00
- GeoBlue Insurance - $128.00
- Souvenirs, free evenings - $500.00
Expenses will vary according to level of personal spending. This expense will include personal shopping and other personal spending/expenses. We strongly recommend that you plan to take enough money in order to enjoy your experience comfortably. In addition, an emergency source of funds, such as a credit card, should be arranged for in case of difficulties
