Teacher talks with students during MBA class
  • Miami's part-time evening MBA Program's learning model is an engaged classroom. Leveraging some of the best faculty from the Farmer School of Business, coupled with highly-motivated, experienced students will elevate the level of engagement beyond the norm. The Miami MBA Program will also enlist local business executives to supplement the learning experience. Students will learn from the faculty instruction, but this will be deepened through the engagement and discussion with their peers.

Most courses are taught using the case method pedagogy. Professors present true-to-life examples of managers faced with difficult decisions. Through examining, discussing, and proposing solutions to business cases, you build a strong frame of reference for the countless situations you will face throughout your career.

"Our highest priority is students." This statement from the Farmer School of Business "Values Statement" clearly expresses our faculty's commitment to teaching and the promotion of learning.

The MBA faculty is committed to fostering growth of its students into effective leaders capable of contributing to the workplace and larger society in many important ways. They combine challenging and innovative teaching with research and service.

Students are engaged in the learning process and are equipped with relevant content and skills needed to effectively utilize this knowledge. These skills include critical thinking, analytical reasoning, communication, team and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to use information technology in an increasingly diverse business environment.

We are pleased to introduce them to you.
