Farmer School seniors honored for their academic success

The Farmer School of Business recognizes the most academically-talented seniors in each graduating class. The number of students recognized represents a proportion of the graduates in each area of study.

The Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key is awarded to the graduating student with the highest cumulative academic average.

  • Maddie Krueger: Maddie will be a Customer Experience Consultant at West Monroe Partners.
  • Olivia Wyles: Olivia will be completing an internship with Eli Lilly & Company in their Finance Department, then will go to Bolivia for a year to do volunteer work at an orphanage.

Accountancy Academic Achievement Award

The William J. McKinstry Award honors the top School of Business Economics majors

  • Sidney Hutson: Sidney will be a Market Research Associate at Cleveland Research Company.
  • Michael Molchan: Michael will be an Investment Banking Analyst at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Corporate Finance LLC.

Outstanding Achievement in Entrepreneurship

  • Abby Porter: Abby will be moving to Tom Owens Caye off the coast of Belize to complete her divemaster certification, while learning how different scuba diving centers, programs, and certification programs operate in order to start her own in the future.

Finance Academic Achievement Award 

  • Meredith Haught: Meredith will be working in the FSO Consulting practice at EY
  • Ki Sakuma: Ki has not specified his future plans

Belden Dennison Award for academic achievement in finance

  • Maddie Krueger: Maddie will be a Customer Experience Consultant at West Monroe Partners.

Outstanding Academic Achievement in Human Capital Management & Leadership

  • Lauren Huggins: Lauren will work on the EY People Advisory Service Staff.

Roy Sandquist Family Award for outstanding academic achievement in information systems & analytics 

  • Jacob Swyers: Jake will be working in Risk Assurance at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
  • Alexandra Jennings: Alexandra will be a TDP Associate at Optum, UHG.

Marketing Academic Excellence Award

  • Emily Black: Emily will be an Assistant Merchant at Victoria’s Secret.
  • Katherine Challoner: Katherine will be a Quantitative Research Assistant at MarketVision.

Marketing Student Achievement Award

  • Molly McNamara: Molly will be a Merchandising Associate at DICK'S Sporting Goods.

Outstanding Academic Achievement in Supply Chain & Operations Management

  • Kenzie Schmitz: Kenzie has not yet decided on her employment plans after graduation.
