FSB programs seeking support as part of #MoveInMiami

MoveIn Miami logo

Each year, #MoveInMiami is Miami University's annual day of giving. When the first-year class moves in, Miamians help welcome them through a gift to any area of Miami they wish to support. This year, the goal is to reach 2,025 gifts in 20 hours and 25 minutes in honor of the class of 2025 --Miami's largest incoming class ever.

Among the dozens of Miami University programs seeking support are several Farmer School programs:

  • The FSB Miami PRIME Student Support Fund will provide scholarships for students participating in the program for non-business majors, which is designed to provide a solid framework to complement any degree program and prepare alumni to be more valuable to a wide variety of organizations.
  • Funds raised through the Information Systems and Analytics (ISA) Student Work Experience Fund will go toward directly involving students in research, course development and special project opportunities for the advancement of the Department of ISA’s programs and curriculum.
  • The Economics Support Fund supports FSB Department of Economics initiatives ranging from box lunches to student organization trips.
  • Donations to the Business Student Advisory Council (BSAC) will impact Farmer School of Business students directly through student-led initiatives such as Farmer Week, Honor Code, Meet the Business Organizations, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Week.
  • Funding for the First-Year Integrated Core, which helps students transition from high school into college through an integrated, highly interactive and experiential first-year experience, will be used for student success initiatives, technology training and updates, and client related projects.
  • The Business Honors Program at the Farmer School of Business offers unique experiential learning opportunities in addition to smaller class sizes and a cohort community, innovative, specialized courses; specific exposure to outside speakers; mentorship, independent research projects and special recognition at the FSB commencement.

#MoveInMiami takes place on Thursday, Aug. 19, but donations can be made anytime online, over the phone, or by mail.
