Departmental Notes:

  • Students must earn a 2.0 GPA in all FIN courses (excluding FIN 101) to graduate
  • FIN 302 and 401 should be taken concurrently
  • Students may select from ACC 321, 333, or 343 for ACC Choice
  • FIN Electives include FIN 303, 331 351, 402, 403, 404, 408, 417, 451, 452, 461, 462, 463, 475, or 481
  • FIN electives may NOT include any Capstones
  • All FIN electives must be completed at Miami

General Requirements:

  • All students must earn 128 hours to graduate; minimum of 64 hours of non-business coursework required
  • A 2.0 GPA overall and 2.0 GPA in business are required to graduate
  • FSB students must select a thematic sequence outside the School of Business (ISA 2 is the only exception to this rule). You must declare your thematic sequence; contact sponsoring department to do so
  • Pre-requisite information available in the Miami Bulletin.
  • Diversity courses may meet GMP Intercultural Perspectives.
  • First-Year Integrated Core (BUS 101, BUS 102, ESP 103, BUS 104) satisfies GMP Experiential Learning.
