Departmental Notes:

  • A 2.0 GPA in all ACC courses is required to graduate.
  • Business Electives requirement is 6 hours at the 200 level or above and must include 1 course outside the Department of Accountancy.
  • ACC 468 is an Accountancy Elective, typically offered in the Fall Only.
  • Accountancy Electives vary by semester and are subject to change.
  • Business Capstones cannot be applied to Business Elective requirement.
  • At least 4 required 300/400 level ACC courses must be completed at Miami.

General Requirements:

  • All students must earn 128 hours to graduate; minimum of 64 hours of non-business coursework required.
  • A 2.0 GPA overall and 2.0 GPA in business are required to graduate.
  • FSB students must select a thematic sequence outside the School of Business (ISA 2 is the only exception to this rule). You must declare your thematic sequence; contact sponsoring department to do so.
  • Pre-requisite information available in the Miami Bulletin.
  • Diversity courses may meet GMP Intercultural Perspectives.
  • Most FSB students satisfy GMP Experiential Learning with an internship; students must register for ACC 340 or 340W to complete this requirement.
