Departmental Notes:

  • Required courses: ISA 245, 281, 301, 387, 403, and 406.
  • ISA Major with Business Analytics track will meet the Thematic Sequence requirement for any FSB student with a double major in this area.  
  • The following courses are offered fall term only: ISA 387.
  • The following courses are offered spring term only: ISA 305, 403, and 406.
  • One 400-level Elective required: ISA 401, 414, or 495.
  • ISA 495 may satisfy the ISA major and Business Capstone requirements.
  • One additional ISA elective is required, select from: CSE 174, ISA 303, 305, 385, 401, 414, 481, or 495.

General Requirements:

  • All students must earn 128 hours to graduate; minimum of 64 hours of non-business coursework required.
  • A 2.0 GPA overall and 2.0 GPA in business are required to graduate.
  • FSB students must select a thematic sequence outside the School of Business (ISA 2 is the only exception to this rule). You must declare your thematic sequence; contact sponsoring department to do so.
  • Pre-requisite information available in the Miami Bulletin.
  • Diversity courses may meet GMP Intercultural Perspectives.
  • Most FSB Students satisfy GMP Experiential Learning with an internship; students must register for ISA 340 to complete this requirement.
