Faculty Award for Innovation in Global Programming
Among his many accomplishments, John E. Dolibois former Vice President for University Relations helped to establish Miami’s first study abroad program in Luxembourg in 1968. Upon retiring from his 34 year career at Miami, he was appointed the United States ambassador to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (1981-1985). In 1987, the Luxembourg center was renamed the Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center. This award honors his memory and will be announced annually in November during International Education Week.
