4 STEM programs abroad this summer

Miami University offers a variety of education abroad opportunities. Here are some summer programs meant for students who have an interest in STEM fields. Many programs are open to students of all majors.

1. Engineering in Europe

Locations: Vienna, Austria; Munich, Germany; Bratislava, Slovakia

a palace in ViennaEarn credits toward your engineering major this summer while exploring Europe! Hear from professionals and visit sites such as the BMW manufacturing plant, Freudenau Donau hydropower plant, Spittelau Waste Incineration Plant, and much more.




2. Knowledge and Ethics in Italy

Locations: Cosenza, Italy with trips to Rome, Rende, Tropea, and Albidona, Italy

3. Mathematical Modeling/Geometry

Locations: London, United Kingdom; Dublin, Ireland

The program includes visits to mathematical-related exhibits and Oxford University as well as a math-themed play.




4. Interactive Design in London

Locations: London, United Kingdom

Earn capstone credits by creating a new product design with a collaborative team of students from various areas of study, including but not limited to engineering, communication design, business, and interactive media.
