4 STEM Programs Abroad This Winter

Miami University offers a variety of education abroad opportunities. Here are some winter programs meant for students who have an interest in the STEM fields. Many programs are open to students of all majors.

Flora of the Bahamas

Location: Andros Island, Bahamas

A lagoon in the BahamasGain unique field experience within the environmental diversity of the Bahamas, from pine forests to mangrove swamps. Students will be introduced to flora much different than that of the central United States.

Radars and MATLAB in Puerto Rico

Location: Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico
