The Graduate School is here to provide current students with the resources and support needed to have a successful graduate education experience. We are committed to the academic and professional development of a diverse community of graduate students, faculty, and staff and ensure to deliver innovative and effective services and activities throughout the duration of your graduate study. 

Student Life

Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. A classic college town, in southwest Ohio, approximately one hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton, and two hours from Columbus.  Living in Oxford and being a part of the Miami University community will give you access to a number of exciting opportunities such as weekly farmer's market, summer concerts, performing arts, sports, museums, lectures, and special events. 

Funding Opportunities

The Graduate School provides financial assistance to current students through a variety of awards, many of which are made possible through generous alumni support. 

Graduate Student Rights and Responsibilities Committee

The Graduate Students Rights and Responsibilities Committee is a standing committee of the Graduate Student Association, composed of 7-9 graduate student members, and who may not serve concurrently on GSA Exec. The term of membership is one (1) year (renewable for up to 3 years).
