Miami Plan Writing Committee
The Miami Plan Writing Committee receives Advanced Writing applications and makes recommendations for approval or revision. The Committee meets approximately once per month.
The Miami Plan Committee also provides support and feedback for departments that would like to submit a course for approval. You are welcome to schedule an appointment by contacting Dr. Elizabeth Wardle (wardleea@MiamiOH.edu), the committee chair and Director of the Howe Center for Writing Excellence.
The committee also reviews applications for the Roger & Joyce Howe Award for Excellence in Disciplinary Writing Instruction and serves as the Local Advisory Board for the Howe Center for Writing Excellence.
