historians who happen to hunt treasure.
  • The Star Wars: Aftermath Trilogy, by Chuck Wendig - This trilogy of books is about the events
immediately following Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. It introduces readers to a great new team of heroes and villians as well as bringing in characters we already know and love like Han Solo,
Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and many more!
  • Annihilation, by Jeff Vandermeer - This is a fiction book about a team of women going into a
place called Area X to discover what they can about it and most of all: survive. The team will
discover secrets about each other and about Area X. It will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!
  • Exhalation, by Ted Chiang - This book is a collection of short stories all focused on science in
some way. They are all different but connect in their themes and messages. It's a fun read for anyone who wants to find a connection between the world of sci-fi and real life.
  • 1984, by George Orwell - The book is about living in a society that is completely run by the
government and no one really has rights because of how far the government has intruded in their everyday lives.

shadow of her mother's work as a prostitute, leave New Orleans, and to attend college in

  • Apeirogon, by Colum McCann - A challenging but very interesting read. A story of a Jewish man and a Muslim man living in very segregated communities (it is against the law for either of them to go into the other's land) and united by the tragic deaths of their daughters. Based on a true story, but a fiction spin. Beautifully written.

did not approve of, is being hunted down by a scorned prince and an assassin sent by an
unidentified party. Lia was severely underestimated as a royal and is found to hold her own as an independent nobody working at an inn. With a sharp tongue, instinctive wit, and a potential inner power growing inside her, Lia has a lot to handle.

(Disney Plus, Hulu)
