IT Services Diversity Committee Presents: DEI in IT with Cisco's Trey Boynton

The Miami University IT Services Diversity Committee is excited to invite you to our November event: DEI in IT with Cisco’s Trey Boynton.

Trey is the Global Lead, Inclusion and Collaboration Strategy and Alignment for Cisco Systems. For nearly 20 years, she worked in equity and inclusion at the University of Michigan.

She shifted to the tech industry in 2017 at Duo Security as their first head of diversity and inclusion. In her current role at Cisco, as the Global Lead for Inclusion Strategy & Alignment, she delivers on inclusion promises at scale.

We are happy to host Trey as she talks about the intersections of diversity, inclusion, collaboration, and technology. Her trajectory, coming from higher education and moving to the private sector, offers a unique perspective on the work that Miami is doing in service to DEI efforts. She will tell us a little about the social justice work that Cisco is currently doing -- and the opportunities she sees in the IT industry for the near and far future.

Come with questions, comments, and ideas -- Trey will talk for 30 minutes and then will open it up for discussion.

We hope you’ll join us on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 2 to 3 pm!
