IT Services Provides a Full Collection of Technology Support Options

by Randy Hollowell, IT Services

As we embark on a new school year, it’s a good idea to take a deep breath and revisit one of the most important services provided by IT Services at Miami. That would of course be tech support for the systems and software we're responsible for.

So, how do you get support? Let’s review.

Tech Fee call for proposals is underway

The call for proposals for the FY 2022 competitive pool of Tech Fee funds has begun. This is the competitive process for distributing a portion of the Student Technology Fees to innovative or significant technology projects that benefit students. The complete schedule for FY22 is available at MiamiOH.edu/TechFee, or you can go directly to the Tech Fee application.

Since 2009, Miami faculty, staff, and students have developed innovative and exciting projects with over $5.5 million of awarded funds. The projects help students in and out of the classroom through the use of technology.

This year, we will once again be using a fall proposal period. With that, the deadline to submit proposals for 2021-2022 awards is midnight on September 20, 2021.
