The Ohio IP Promise governs the process for cultivating the licensing of intellectual property (IP) developed at Ohio public universities. It provides a clear path for faculty and entrepreneurs interested in pursuing entrepreneurial and commercial ventures.

Miami University is proud to join Ohio's other public universities in a collaborative commitment to further streamlining our processes, driving transparency and speed to support commercialization of Ohio innovations. With a focus on continuous improvement, Miami University will develop aligned metrics and annual measurement processes and establish common reporting mechanisms. Updates on our progress will be reported on this page.
