Regional Dean and Associate Provost

Dr. Bishop-Clark is both an Associate Provost and Dean of Miami University Regionals. Prior to this, she served as Associate Dean of Miami Regionals and co-chaired the committee to implement the College of Professional Studies to develop new, Regional-based degrees.

Having worked either in a faculty or administrative capacity at Miami University for 27 years, she spearheaded the implementation of the Health Information major, the first bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, and facilitated the development of multiple bachelor degree programs on the Regional campuses. Dr. Bishop-Clark also led Miami’s efforts to build Greentree Health Science Academy, an educational facility coordinating efforts of the Atrium Medical Center, City of Middletown and Warren County Career Services.

More recently, in 2015 she was a West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance Women of Excellence recipient. Also in 2015, Dr. Bishop-Clark was chair of the Middletown United Way Campaign. The campaign raised $1.6 million, exceeding its goal by $300,000. She also serves on the Middletown Community Foundation Board of Trustees. She earned a BS in computer science from the University of Dayton, a MS in Quantitative Analysis and an Ed.D. in Educational Foundations from the University of Cincinnati.

Outside her academic roles, Dr. Bishop-Clark has participated, along with her daughter, in a mission trip to Haiti that worked with a medical team serving Haitians in remote villages. She and her daughter have given presentations to educate others about medical mission trips. She and her husband, a third grade teacher in Lakota, have two daughters: the oldest is a sophomore biology major at Miami University and the youngest is a Senior at Fenwick High School.
