Located midway between Cincinnati and Dayton in the I-75 corridor, Miami’s Voice of America Learning Center is building on the historic site of the former VOA Bethany Relay Station. Check out our virtual map of the Center which is located on 20 acres at the corner of VOA Park Drive and Cox Road in West Chester, with convenient access from the interstate via the Tylersville Road or Liberty Way exits.

Miami Regionals consolidated its Commerce Department at the VOA Learning Center in the fall of 2019. With the largest enrollment on the Regionals, the department continues to offer in-class courses at all Regional locations, provides online course offerings, and offers students the opportunity to complete their degree 100% online. The Regionals also provide other undergraduate course opportunities here to help students begin their degree programs.

Miami’s Farmer School of Business’s nationally-ranked MBA Program is based at the Voice of America Learning Center. Through Miami’s College of Education, Health and Society there are a number of graduate degree and professional development opportunities offered throughout the year, and eligible area educators may be able to take advantage of Miami's TEAM Scholarship.

Commerce Hub

Miami University’s Commerce Hub is located at the Learning Center. Begun in fall 2019, the Hub links the real-world and academic expertise of Commerce Faculty with a new partnership with the Ohio Small Business Development Center and the work it does helping small businesses launch and expand. In addition to service businesses in the region, the Hub will also dynamically connect Commerce students with practical learning experiences in working with SBDC clients and programs.

Culture and Community

Throughout the year the Voice of America Learning Center hosts a rotating series of art exhibitions, and hosts Miami’s Institute for Learning in Retirement’s fall and spring courses. As part of Miami’s Regionals, the Learning Center works with 9 chambers of commerce in the area, and often collaborates with local school systems and government agencies.

Learning Center facilities, including its 152 seat auditorium, may be used by external groups and agencies for educational purposes on a cost basis. For more information contact Mr. Brett Couch at (513) 785-3070 or couchbc@MiamiOH.edu.
