Offered in the Department of Engineering Technology with support of the Ohio Engineering Technology Educators Association, the new program is fast, affordable, and lays the groundwork that can lead to a rewarding career or a college degree.
Fast
The coursework is presented in a hybrid (combination of online/in-person) format, and can be completed in as little as one semester. You’ll then put that knowledge to work in a required internship with a local manufacturer.
For an added bonus, you will earn Miami’s Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential once you complete the first 9 ENT credit hours.

Foundational
Students who earn the certificate can enter the workforce and continue seamlessly toward earning an associate or bachelor’s degree in one of Miami Regionals Engineering Technology programs. They can also earn additional certificates at educational institutions across the state.
