The Geology Club had an educational booth set up at GeoFair 2017 May 6th and May 7th, 2017 at the Sharonville Convention Center, Sharonville OH. This is the second year that Geology Club has been asked to participate in the education section of GeoFair and before they had set up for 2017 were invited back to participate in GeoFair 2018! Club members, Riley Allen, Michael Curtis, Kali Manning, Melanie McIntosh, Leighanna Palmer, Alan Stacy, Tiffany Stump, David Wolf and the club faculty advisor Dr. Tammie L. Gerke answered questions about minerals, rocks, weathering, what geologists do to earn a living and promote Miami Regionals throughout the weekend. All had a great time. This is becoming an annual outreach activity for Geology Club.
