The Knowledge Cafe to Cover Trending Social Media Topics

Miami University Regionals' Middletown campus will host The Knowledge Café three times in June. A successful series now in its second year, this month's talks will provide discussion on business innovation and social media trends. All sessions are free but require RSVP and will take place at Verity Lodge. Light refreshments will be offered.

On June 16, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the session is titled Using "Blab" for Panel Discussions Online. This interactive presentation, led by Dr. Mike Baim will discuss what you need to know about the online panel discussion tool "Blab." "Blab" offers the opportunity to observe, participate in, or create your own moderated discussions in real time.

On June 21, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the session is titled Inspiring Creativity and Innovation- Part II. Dr. Susan A. Baim leads this interactive discussion on Ed Catmull's book about the inner workings of Pixar Animation Studios where Catmull was a founder and leader. Come join us for this detailed discussion of what steps to take to keep your work on the cutting edge.

On June 28, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the session is titled The "Six Thinking Hats" Approach to Problem Solving. This interactive presentation, led by Dr. Susan A. Baim will address how to apply the classic Edward DeBono tool to solve lateral thinking problems. Save time to meet the "head" in the picture at the session! Selfie time…
