Michael J. Colligan History Project hosts Jon Meacham presenting The Art of Leadership: Andrew Jackson and Lessons from the American Presidency

Image shows a picture of Jon Meacham.The Michael J. Colligan History Project welcomes Jon Meacham, a renowned historian, on Thursday, April 12 at 7pm to Parrish Auditorium on Miami University Regionals' Hamilton campus.

Meacham will explore how the example of former United States presidents, including Andrew Jackson, can inform contemporary leadership in various fields of endeavor in his lecture The Art of Leadership: Andrew Jackson & Lessons from the American Presidency.

Meacham is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and a distinguished visiting professor at Vanderbilt University and The University of the South. He is also a contributing writer to The New York Times Book Review and a contributing editor at TIME. Meacham serves as a regular television guest and an executive editor at Random House.

The Michael J. Colligan History Project is a partnership of the Colligan Fund Committee of the Hamilton Community Foundation and Miami Regionals' Hamilton campus. Its goals are bringing the past to life, creating historical thinking, and building community identity.
