Program Description
Calling all those with a spirit of adventure! Explore the outdoors and make new friends. This program will connect you with other first-year students who share your passion for the outdoors while easing the transition into life on campus.
Program Schedule
Sunday, August 14
- Move-in to your residence hall
- Evening welcome activity & group dinner
Monday, August 15
- Biking tour of campus
- Challenge course experience
- Rock climbing at the Rec Climbing Wall
- Evening campfire with s'mores
Tuesday, August 16
- Full day adventure off-campus
- Choice activity of backpacking, mountain biking, canoeing or rock climbing
- Overnight camping trip in the tri-state region
Wednesday, August 17
- Closing activity
- Return to campus
