Plan Your Orientation Visit

Arrival and Departure Times
The entirety of orientation is required for all new students, so it is important that you plan your trip with consideration for the start and end times for orientation.
Day 1
- Plan to arrive to the Armstrong Student Center no later than 9:15 a.m.
- Programming for both students and families will continue through 10 p.m.
Day 2
- Students will begin programming at 7:30 a.m. Families will begin sessions at 8:15 a.m.
- Programming will conclude for both students and families by 12:30 p.m.
If you will travel by plane, please do not schedule flights from Cincinnati or Dayton earlier than 3 p.m. on Day 2 of your orientation session.
Parking
Parking Orientation students and guests should park in the North Garage located at 600 E. Withrow Lane, Oxford, OH 45056. Three days before your orientation session, you will receive an email to register your license plate for orientation parking in the North Garage free of charge.Book Your Overnight Stay
You have a number of options to consider for your overnight stay in Oxford. While not required, you are strongly encouraged to stay close to campus given the length of the orientation program. On-campus overnight accommodation options are detailed below.
Residence Hall Rooms
Experience the residence halls during your orientation program. Select residence halls are available for reservation-based housing -- just like you might book a hotel! Both students and family members are welcome to stay in residence all rooms. All orientation residence halls are within close proximity of the Armstrong Student Center, where most orientation programming takes place.
Hall amenities: air conditioning, rooms with two twin-sized beds, sheets, blankets, pillows provided, community restrooms within each corridor of the hall.
Residence hall room fee: The residence hall room fee for orientation is $87.99/night plus tax and reservation fee.
