Public Transportation on campus: BCRTA operates three services available for Miami University students and faculty for free with their student ID:

  • Fixed Route Service: Our fixed route system operates eight different bus lines that run seven days a week. BCRTA covers the entire campus in addition to several popular sports off campus including: Kroger, Wal-Mart, shopping centers and restaurants. Fixed route services start at 6:00am and run until 10:00pm. Check out our Oxford Routes page for more information on the bus route system.
  • SafeRide services: Safe ride is a curb to curb service like Uber/Lyft that runs from 10:00pm – 3:00am M-SA and 10:00pm – 1:00am on Sundays. Students can use the BGo app to book trips or call customer service. This mobile application can be downloaded on Apple and Android devices. All services are free of charge. Many students use the saferide service for late night pickups from the library to their place of residence or trips to the grocery store to pick up food and snacks.

Plan your trip. Track your ride. And now pay your fair.

  • Paratransit Services – BCRTA has paratransit services available for anyone who has a disability that prevents them from riding the regular fixed route service. Paratransit services operate the same time as the regular fixed route system. Paratransit services do require an application; applications can be obtained through our website or through the department of disabilities on campus. Many students utilize this service if they are on crutches or other injuries that may have immobilized them for a short period of time. We are here to assist in any situation.

Travel Training services are available for anyone who is interested in learning how to navigate the bus system. Information can be found on our website at All services are free of charge.
