Creative Arts at Miami

The College of Creative Arts at Miami:

The College of Creative Arts (CCA) recognizes that there are artists in every area of study at Miami University. It is our mission to ensure that your student can continue to pursue their creative passions while they are here.

So, even if they are not a College of Creative Arts major, co-major, or minor, that doesn't mean they have to give up the instrument they love to play, stop acting on stage, quit coding, or put down that paint brush.

The Come Play With Us initiative invites all Miami students to join one of our 13 music ensembles, take part in one of our four annual theatre productions, or take one of our many visual art sprint courses offered at the Art Center. The College of Creative Arts also hosts over 200 events annually including art exhibitions, concerts, dance recitals, comedy shows, student theatre, and artist talks.

For those who want a more immersive arts experience, we offer several minors and co-majors that complement degree programs across the university, including arts management + entrepreneurship, fashion, art therapy, studio art, art history, and games + simulation. More information about majors, minors, and other opportunities in the arts can be found in the Opportunities in CCA page »
