University Libraries

Welcome to Miami University Libraries

We are here to help your student take full advantage of all that Miami Libraries has to offer and help them be a more successful student. We'll reach out to them during the fall semester, but if you or they have any questions before then, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Fun Facts about MU Libraries:

  • We have textbooks and other required class readings on reserve - so if your student doesn’t have theirs, they may be able to borrow ours (for in-library use)
  • Need to print a paper? Or a flyer (even in color)? Print affordably at the library.
  • Borrow tech equipment - like graphing calculators, video cameras, and chargers for many laptops and mobile devices.
  • There are four libraries on campus - so a study location is never far!
  • Your student can use our computer labs and laptops for the most up-to-date software, including video editing software, Adobe Creative Suites, and more.
  • We provide free access to news, journals, eBooks and more through our over 500 databases. Miami students also get free NY Times and Wall Street Journal mobile subscriptions; sign up once they register for classes.
