Religious Communities Association (RCA)

Practicing your faith and/or being part of a religious community is an important part of the Miami experience for many students. The communities below are some of the places that your student can make this connection. Click on the name of the community to jump to that section of this page.

The above organizations may be located near campus, have associated student organizations, and interact frequently with the university community, but none are entities of Miami University.

Bridge Church - Oxford

The Bridge is a nondenominational, Christian campus ministry at Miami that seeks to know Jesus and make Him known in our community. Whether your student is searching for answers or seeking to dive deeper in their faith, we want to come alongside them. Everyone is always welcome. We want students to come as they are as we take this journey together. We are really excited about meeting your student and getting to know them!

Navigators

Simply put, we love God and we love people. We are a group of friends who are on a journey together to get to know God. Some of us would consider Jesus our best friend, while others feel like they are just starting to look into Christianity. We value relating authentically and vulnerably. We don't feel like we have it all together, but are indeed experiencing the changing power of God at work in our lives.

Oxford Friends Meeting (Quaker)

As Friends, we believe there is “that of God in every person.” This core belief shapes all of Friends’ faith and practice. Because we believe that every person has access to the Light Within, we seek to follow the Spirit as it is revealed in our own experience, rather than dogma, and our worship grows out of silent waiting for the awareness of truth. Because we believe in the Divine Spark in all persons, we are called to seek nonviolence and social justice. Because we see that environmental degradation is often tied to war and injustice, we seek an earth restored. We meet at the Interfaith Center at 10am on Sundays.
